Superior Court Facilities - Martinez

The City of Martinez is the County Seat for Contra Costa County, and so most of its court facilities are here.

In downtown Martinez, there is a wonderful
clock at the corner of Main and Court Streets.

The Martinez courts' jury assembly room and
all courtrooms (other than the Juvenile Hall) are within a block or so of this clock.

Court Houses are open to the public at 8:00AM and close at 5:00PM. Monday through Friday except on court holidays. (Security will not allow early or late entry.)

Filing Clerk windows open to the public at 8:00AM and close at 1:00PM.

If you arrive at the court to drop off documents between 1:00pm and 5:00pm, you can put them in the "Late Drop Box" located just inside the Wakefield Taylor courthouse's Main Street entrance.

NOTE: Any document deposited in this drop box between 8:00am and 5:00pm
will be deemed filed on that same day.
