Building Exterior

The Superior Court Building in Walnut Creek serves the communities of Alamo, Avon, Canyon, Clayton, Clyde, Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Orinda, Pacheco, Pleasant Hill, Rheem, Rossmoor, San Ramon, St. Mary's College, Walnut Creek, and Ygnacio Valley.

Entrance/Security

There is only one entrance to the courthouse, and this is accessible for people with disabilities. Anyone entering the Court must go through a security checkpoint to help make sure that everyone in the building will be safe at all times.

Filing Windows

In this court you can file traffic and non traffic cases. Clerks accept payment of traffic and non traffic fines and fees.

Filing Clerk windows open to the public at 8:00 AM and close at 1:00 PM.

Upstairs Lobby

There are four courtrooms in Walnut Creek –one on the ground floor and three on the second floor. People involved in court cases being heard on the second floor may wait in the lobby for their case to be called.

Cases heard in Walnut Creek are traffic and non traffic proceedings.

Drop Box

The Walnut Creek drop box is located to the right of the entrance to the courthouse. Please be sure that your name, address, phone number, and case number are clearly noted on any payments or correspondence that you place in the drop box.

NOTE: Any document deposited in this drop box between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM will be deemed filed on that same day.
